Fall makes it easy to get outside. The air is cool, the trees are changing colour, and there's a pumpkin patch or apple orchard a short drive from almost everywhere. The hard part is actually doing it before the season slips away. A fall bingo card helps: every square is something to do or see this autumn, and you try to finish a line before the snow flies.

Below are 40 fall bingo ideas in five groups. Use them to plan your own fall bucket list, or play our free Fall Events bingo card, which already mixes outdoor outings with cozy nights in.

How fall bingo works

  • Get a card. Each card has 24 squares plus a free square in the middle. Our card shuffles the squares, so everyone in your family or office gets a different layout.
  • Do it, then mark it. Go to the pumpkin patch, then tick the square. No need to rush: fall bingo is meant to last a few weeks.
  • Five in a row wins. A row, column, or diagonal is a bingo. Want a bigger goal? Try a blackout, where you mark every square.

Tips for a good fall card

  • Mix big outings with small ones. A corn maze takes an afternoon; wearing flannel takes a minute. Easy squares keep people playing on busy weeks.
  • Count the walk, not the distance. A leaf-peeping walk around the block counts. The goal is to get outside, not to set records.
  • Plan one outing a weekend. Pick a square or two on Friday, like apple picking and a bonfire night, and the card fills up on its own.
  • Bring someone along. Most squares are more fun with a friend, and it's easier to keep the plan when someone is counting on you.

Play it as a family or with coworkers

Fall bingo works well as a friendly competition. Start a free team and everyone gets their own shuffled card, with a leaderboard that shows who's ahead. The person who starts the team can add your own squares, like a local orchard or your town's fall fair. Prefer paper? Every card has a Download PDF button, so you can print one for the fridge.
